Having the laboratory underneath facilitates rapid exchange of AVs from one male to the other and rapid evaluation and partial extension of the collected semen.&nbsp;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">How to select camel males for the Semen collection program ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Practicaly , males sorted into 3 groups.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*<\/strong> <strong>First<\/strong> <strong>group : ( Recommended )<\/strong><br><strong>Males which have recently reached sexual maturity <\/strong><strong>(7-8 years age) and have not practiced natural mating yet. <\/strong><br>These males are usually acceptable to serve AVs after a short period of training and give excellent results in semen collection (semen volume and quality). These trained males will be the main source of semen in AI-program throughout their <strong>breeding lifespan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>* Second group :<\/strong><br><strong>Males which have practiced natural mating for 4-5 breeding seasons (8-12 years age)<\/strong> These males take a relatively longer time and more effort for training to serve AVs.
